Vishakha Jindal is a Mumbai based contemporary artist working across painting, collage, textile and objects. She began painting in 2017, following a background in photography, and established Vikiki Studio in 2021.

Her work begins intuitively, often with a material, colour, mark or form. Rather than working towards a predetermined image, she allows the work to evolve. As it takes shape, fragments from childhood, encounters with nature and impressions gathered through life surface and find their way into the composition. Forms grow in relation to one another, creating visual systems that suggest imagined habitats and interconnected worlds.

This sensibility allows her visual language to move naturally between mediums and into space. Paintings become collages, collages become textiles, and forms extend into objects and site specific works. Through commissions and collaborations, she continues to explore how art can inhabit and transform different environments, while retaining the intuitive, playful quality at the heart of her practice.

Her practice includes solo and group exhibitions at Method, Mumbai, participation in Mumbai Gallery Weekend, and site specific and commissioned projects for JSW. She has also hosted artist meetups and workshops in Mumbai and Hyderabad, with her work featured in Architectural Digest, ELLE DECOR and Hello! Magazine.
